This tour has a lot of variety, both in terms of cycling and landscape. Great scenery with views of Heidalsmuen, Glittertind as well as Jotunheimen and Rondane National Park.
100% gravel road/forest road/trail or 85% gravel road and 15% asphalt.
The tour around Rindhovda starts in Lemonsjøen and to Randsverk and goes via county road 257 down to Murudalskrysset (approx. 4 km), turn right towards Murudalen, past the fox farm and follow the gravel road to the right just after the bridge over Sjoa. The trail follows the south side of the Sjoa river, which you pass over the bridge above Ridderspranget. Nice gravel and forest road, no traffic and great views to Sjolikampen and towards Jotunheimen.
Tesse Rundt is a very varied tour in terms of both terrain and landscape. The tour offers 1 kilometre of paved road, 37 kilometres of fine gravel and forest roads and about 2 kilometres of paths with challenging terrain.
The last 8 kilometres are a nice gravel road and descend easily to Randsverk. The gravel road down to Larsbuseter and to Randsverk is open to traffic in the summer - drive carefully downhill and around the bends.
The tour can be combined with the Flatningen-Klones-Veslvatnet route by using the road at Tesseosen down to county road 51.

The river Sjoa flows through Ridderspranget with ice-cold glacier water from Gjende and Jotunheimen.
The gorge is barely 2.5 metres at its narrowest point, but the rock is slippery, so you need to travel with caution. Pay attention to the safety barriers that have been set up.
There are trails in the wild landscape both above and below Ridderspranget. Also, take the time to read the legend of Sigvat from Kvie and Skårvangssola on the board by the car park.
The trip to Ridderspranget from Randsverk is approx. 10 km round trip and can be reached by car, bike or on foot.
